Eden Nourishing Hair Oil is the ultimate scalp and hair treatment, restoring strength, vitality, and shine while promoting growth and preventing damage. Use as a scalp massage treatment, overnight mask, or pre-shampoo oil for deep nourishment and maximum results.
 
Directions: Apply directly to dry hair/scalp.
 
*Using warm oil will allow for deeper penetration through your hair cuticles and seal them to keep your scalp moisturized. A few capfuls should be plenty. Heat your oils for a few seconds until warm - NOT HOT.
 
Included with your oil is a dropper. Section off your hair. Fill the with warm oil and squeeze onto your scalp. This allows for easy application onto the scalp.
 
Gently massage the oil on your scalp for a few minutes using circular motions. Work your way across the entire scalp for 10-15 minutes. After you are done with the scalp, gently work your way to the ends of your hair (do not comb through). Wrap your hair in a warm towel. This causes your pores and cuticles to open up, allowing for deeper penetration of the oil into your scalp and hair follicles.
 
Leave the oil on your scalp for at least an hour however, it can be left on overnight. Wash thoroughly with shampoo the next day. Rinse with cool to tepid water.
 
Oiling your hair one or two times a week is recommended.
 
Do’s & Dont’s of Hair Oiling:
 
Don’t Comb Your Hair Right After Oiling It - Your hair is vulnerable to breakage at this point as your scalp is relaxed. Oil can weigh your hair down and combing your hair right after oiling it will only cause it to break.
 
Don’t Wash Too Soon - Getting rid of all the excess oil is important, but not too soon! Allow the oil to sit on your scalp for at least one hour. This lets the oil penetrate through the follicles and nourish your scalp.
 
Don’t Massage Too Vigorously - Massaging your scalp too fast or vigorously can break your hair. Massage your scalp gently in a circular motion.
 
Don’t Overuse Your Shampoo - Washing off all the excess oil is important. A lot of us tend to overuse our shampoo in an attempt to get rid of the excess oil. Using too much shampoo on your hair can remove its natural oils and cause more harm than good. We highly recommend using our Green Tea Shampoo as your hair cleanser.
