African Ash Soap

Imported from Ghana

Our African Black Soap is made by women in Ghana, Africa. It consists of West Africa's locally harvested plants:

• Plantain skins

• Cocoa pods

• Shea tree bark

• Palm tree leaves

Wild Forged + Ethically Sourced

100% of the ingredients in this soap are wildly forged and ethically sourced by the local women in Ghana. This soap is as natural as it gets.

Full Body Cleansing

African black soap is an excellent cleanser for all skin types including sensitive skin. It rinses completely clean leaving behind zero residue. It has also proved to be an excellent soap for treating acne.

Haircare

African black soap is a versatile product that can be used as a shampoo. It works to cleanse and moisturize both the hair and scalp, resulting in soft and shiny hair.

Moisturizing

The high levels of shea butter give it superior moisturizing properties. This natural ingredient is known for its ability to hydrate and soothe dry, irritated skin. This feature makes it a great choice for those who want to improve their skin's moisture levels without harsh chemicals or synthetic fragrances.

Removes Bacteria

African black soap is even more beneficial than “medical grade” soap at removing bacteria.

A study in the Journal of Microbiology and Biotechnology Research compared African ash soap with medicated soaps. The study looked at how effective black soap was at stopping bacteria such as:

• Staphylococcus aureus

• Staphylococcus epidermidis

• Bacillus spp.

• Escherichia coli

• Corynebacterium spp.

African Ash Soap was proven more effective at removing and reducing these bacteria than medical-grade soaps.

How to store your soap: African Black soap needs to be stored in an airtight container or a sealed plastic bag, otherwise it becomes dry and develops a white film (this is not mold, rather oxidation). Please keep your soap in an air tight container.

African black soap contains glycerin therefore, it softens and starts to slowly disintegrate when left exposed. Place the bar on a wooden soap dish with slats to allow the soap to drain before placing it back in a bag.

Safety Information: When using a new product, always do a patch test first. Discontinue use if irritation occurs. Do not use any products if you have a known allergy to an ingredient. Avoid getting any product into the eyes. Flush eyes immediately with water if this occurs.

*Kingdom Come Home offers natural and organic products. Ingredients may have slight variations and product appearance may slightly differ due to harvest times and batches created from them.

**Shelf Life: All Kingdom Come Home products are made with God’s natural goodness. Please use within 8 months of the date of purchase to ensure quality and freshness.
